Deyan Vitanov is a Co-Founder and CEO of Chobolabs, a startup bringing competitive real-time multiplayer games to mobile. The company aspires to unlock the hidden potential of smartphones by turning them into tiny consoles in the pockets of gamers worldwide. To realize this dream, Chobolabs has raised venture capital from a syndicate of top Silicon Valley investors led by Google Chairman Eric Schmidt’s seed fund, Innovation Endeavors, and set up offices in Palo Alto, CA, and Sofia, Bulgaria.
Prior to Chobolabs, Deyan co-founded and sold 2 companies and spent 4 years as a professional gamer, playing StarCraft: Brood War and Counter-Strike. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Integrated Social Sciences from Jacobs University Bremen. Deyan has been programming since he was 9 years old and is proficient in multiple programming languages, with an emphasis on complex algorithms and data structures.
